Credit Analyst
We are looking to
hire a London based credit professional to assist in creating and updating
valuation methodologies for the RMBS, ABS, and CMBS markets. You will join our
valuations team to develop methodologies and keep them up to date with developments
in the capital markets. You値l also work with customers and our sales team to
make sure our methods are properly presented and well understood. The Credit
Analyst will also participate in modeling and writing papers and other
analysis.
Qualifications
- Experience in the analysis of structured
finance securities
- Experience with trading or on the buy
side of the structured finance business
- Understanding of the factors in
proper evaluation and pricing of MBS, ABS, and CMBS including structural,
economic, and market factors
- Experience analyzing frequently
securitized types of asset pools
- Experience with structured finance
cash flow models
- Good interpersonal skills and the
ability to build strong professional relationships at all levels, with both
internal and external parties.

Engagement Manager
We are looking for
Engagement Manager in New York to join our valuations and consulting team. You
will be responsible for managing complex structure finance valuation service
engagements through the entire client lifecycle. You値l be responsible for
managing multiple complex projects to deliver timely and high quality
valuations to our international client base. You値l work with clients and our
technical and research teams to exceed client expectations and to ensure our
team is properly utilized. You値l also be part of our sales and marketing
effort and will have responsibility to maintain client relationships to uncover
additional opportunities.
Qualifications
- MBA or equivalent graduate degree
OR bachelor's degree with minimum 4 years relevant work experience
- Experience with managing multi
phase projects that include: expectation / deliverable management, resource
allocation requirements and detailed schedules
- Strong preference for candidates
with RMBS, CMBS or ABS experience, and/or a clear understanding of global
capital/credit markets (Experience with OTTI accounting practices a major plus)

Financial Data
Analyst
MWSA is currently
looking for Financial Data Analysts in South San Francisco. In this role,
you will be a part of the team that acquires structures, cleans, and delivers
structured finance data to our clients. Our clients use our timely and accurate
data in their investment decision making, monitoring, risk management, and
reporting functions. It is delivered through our analytic software libraries
and as direct feeds into client databases. The data team is ultimately
responsible for ensuring that the information our clients rely on is timely,
complete, and accurate.
The Financial Data
Analyst audits, validates, and refines data as part of our monthly data collection
and production process. You値l provide internal support to our staff to resolve
critical errors and refine calculations around data processes. You値l need to
be able to interpret data from multiple sources and undertake research to
determine which data points to extract and how to implement them into existing
data sets. This team works with our modeling
and development teams to build coverage of our RMBS, ABS, CMBS, and CDO data
sets and waterfall libraries.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate or graduate degree
with an emphasis in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Math, or related
quantitative field.
- Experience in working with large/complex
data sets.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

team you'll work closely with our internal and external customers in the
implementation of our suite of fixed income products. You'll be exposed to a

solutions for them using our top of the line analytic software and data
solutions. You値l use our data and software products to assist clients in
analyzing complex structured finance instruments and aid in the implementation,

library. Our clients use our accurate waterfall models in their investment
decision making, monitoring, risk management, and reporting functions. These
are delivered through our analytic software libraries. The modeling team is responsible
for ensuring that the models of these complex instruments are accurate and
able to be relied on for investment decisions.

Developer
MWSA is currently looking for Java Developer in South San
Francisco. You will be part of our Enterprise team that responsible for the Moody痴
Wall Street Analytics server side applications and deal libraries. This
is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who wants to make a difference and
who is creative and a self-starter. You will have significant exposure to
distributed systems support, concurrent Java and Oracle database programming
and full life-cycle development.
Qualifications
- Ability to write clean, well-structured,
self-explanatory code.
- Ability to understand and support existing
company server side code.
- 2+ years of OOP experience, (Java
design/development is preferred.)

Specialist
We are looking for a
Technical Sales Specialist based in New York. In this role, you will be a part of
the team that sells our structured finance data, software, and valuations
solutions. Our tools allow investors, portfolio managers, and risk managers to
identify, create and manage deterministic and stochastic scenarios to mitigate
risk exposures. You値l provide technical
expertise to our sales team and work closely with the product delivery team to
ensure that prospective clients receive the industry and application expertise
needed to make a decision on our services. The candidate will organize and lead meetings with
prospects, provide product demonstrations, develop sales content, and identify
cross selling opportunities. The candidate will also work vigorously to collect
information on current analytic methodologies and best practices from meetings
and provide to the development and marketing teams. The candidate should have outstanding
presentation skills and knowledge of the competitive landscape.
Qualifications
- 5 or more years experience in the
financial industry.
- Consultative sales experience.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills are required.
